1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

• Account and contact information you provide: name, email address, mailing address, city, state, ZIP code, and — only if you choose to provide it — your mobile phone number.
• Payment information: processed by our payment providers (Stripe and, for installments, Klarna). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Course and usage data: enrollment, course progress, quiz and exam activity, flashcards, and study activity used to personalize your learning and track completion for state requirements.
• Referral information: if you were referred by an agency, the referring agency identifier.
• Device and log data: IP address, browser/user agent, and similar technical data.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to provide and personalize the course, process payments, communicate with you (by email, and by text only if you opt in), provide support, track course completion for state insurance-education requirements, maintain security, and improve our services.

4. SMS / text messaging

If you opt in, we use the mobile number you provide to send account, course-progress, and promotional text messages from LicenseIQ (Hire IQ Ventures LLC), including messages sent by autodialer. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the service: with service providers that host our platform, process payments, and deliver email/SMS on our behalf; with your referring agency for enrollment and mentorship where applicable; and with government or regulatory authorities where required for insurance-education compliance or by law. We may transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell your personal information. As stated above, text-messaging opt-in and consent data is never shared with any third parties.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the platform is used.

7. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with our legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations (including insurance-education recordkeeping), then delete or anonymize it.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Your choices and rights

You can access or update your account information, opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights to access or delete your personal information; contact us to exercise them.

10. Children

LicenseIQ is intended for individuals 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
